Chabad of Baka is a warm community in the heart of Jerusalem, offering inspiration and support to residents and travelers.
Directed by Rabbi Avraham and Nechama Dina Hendel, the Beit Levi (Chabad of Baka) community welcomes new olim and focuses on their unique needs.
The center offers a range of enriching classes, a Rosh Chodesh Women's Circle, the Friendship Circle of South Jerusalem, community gatherings, Shabbat dinner for young professionals, children's programs, and a daily and Shabbat minyan.
One of the specialties at Chabad of Baka is the weekly kiddush on Shabbat morning, where community members join for comaraderie, inspiration, and delicious cholent.

Beit Levi-Chabad of Baka was founded in the beginning of 2008, in loving memory of Avraham's brother, Levi Hendel ob'm, who lost his life in a tragic car accident on his way to spreading the light of Chanukah to Israeli soldiers.
